Well I had two job interviews yesterday. Actually, I interviewed with three nurse managers, so I have potentially three departments in two hospitals to choose from. They'll all offer me a position, I just have to decide which one I want. I'm leaning toward a surgical ICU. I think I would learn a lot and be able to expand my knowledge base. Up to now, all I've done is cardiac nursing. I think I would be more well rounded with experience in a SICU. I'd definitely see a lot more than just hearts and respiratory stuff. I'm really excited about my prospects. I'm glad to be in a profession where I really have a lot of choices as to where I can work and what type of work I do.
